This couple wanted to celebrate their union in an unconventional way while honoring Alexandre’s Cambodian roots through traditional rituals. During our first meeting, we discovered their shared passion for Japan—the destination of their most memorable trip—their love of Italian cuisine, and their talent for swing dancing.

La Terrasse Carla et le Tiramisu in Montreal immediately stood out as the perfect choice: a unique setting that combined their culinary tastes, modern aesthetic, and desire for authenticity. The icing on the cake was that the venue offered the accommodations needed to host their family, who had traveled from far away.

With a live swing band to get their guests dancing, we created a celebration where Cambodian tradition, Japanese influences, the Italian dolce vita, and jazz rhythms blended together in a striking contrast.
